Massive Ears —Knoxville, Tennessee’s annual multi-genre music competition— has introduced the primary a part of its lineup for its Tenth-anniversary version. Scheduled to happen March 30-April 2, 2023, the competition will characteristic 150 live shows throughout 12 venues in Knoxville.
The present wave of introduced performers consists of 23 artists from an enormous musical spectrum that features jazz, nation, people, indie rock, bluegrass, up to date classical, African, and experimental music.
Amongst its many choices are an eight-concert celebration of saxophonist/composer John Zorn’s seventieth birthday; displays of music by experimental composers Annea Lockwood, Éliane Radigue, and Catherine Lamb; and the string quartets of minimalist pioneer Steve Reich.
