For 15 years, Y-3 has outlined and redefined the language of sport-style with fearless innovation. For Spring/Summer time 2018, the landmark collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto and adidas follows a easy

directive: fuse the most effective of Yohji with the most effective of adidas. This Y-3 idea—returning to the core DNA of its two makers—is mirrored within the assortment, three marketing campaign chapters, and breakthrough footwear

launches.

 

The primary chapter of the Spring/Summer time 2018 marketing campaign was shot on the streets of New York Metropolis: sportswear and vogue intersect as Y-3 reaffirms sport-style as its true essence. Photographed by Alessio Bolzoni and styled by Mauricio Nardi, Chapter 1 captures a dynamic vitality as fashions stalk the city open air within the season’s daring graphics. Poetry meets punk as fashions talk a contemporary power and style in opposition to a gritty industrial backdrop. They delicately fall into one another to create distinctive contorted shapes that Bolzoni captures from shocking angles.

 

The stark imagery enhances the straightforward graphic emblazoned throughout the gathering: a stacked emblem motif combining the Y-3 emblem, Yohji Yamamoto signature, and the slogan “model with the three stripes” in a number of languages. Stamped throughout coach jackets, road kimonos, hooded sweaters, sling baggage, and Adilettes, this graphic turns into the gathering’s icon and a recent image of the Y-3 collaboration.

 

This season, Y-3 continues to gasoline footwear with courageous new improvements. Obtainable worldwide from December 2nd, the ultra-sleek Suberou combines parts of neoprene and leather-based in a simple slip-on design. That is daring, summer-ready type with cushioned consolation and super-size Y-3 graphics throughout its tongue.

 

Obtainable on December eighth, the Bashyo reinvents the mid-cut type with daring, sudden parts like a thick rubber sole and the season’s signature contrasting emblem graphics. The shoe is comprised of a stretch canvas higher with rubber toe-cap and outsole, plus a Y-3 emblem heel badge.

 

The primary drop of the Spring/Summer time 2018 assortment will launch on December 1st at Y-3 flagship shops, Y-3.com, and choose retailers worldwide.
